Junior Project Manager/Asset Manager

About the Role

The Jr. Project Manager / Asset Manager will partner closely with creative, brand, studio and production departments to ensure project organization and the delivery of creative assets, while assisting the Sr. PM maintain day-to-day, holistic, account-wide health. The Jr. PM will shepherd multiple workstreams through the project lifecycle, making sure the team is clear on what needs to happen and by when. They will act as the glue between departments, mapping out project deliverable details for creative teams to develop against, and responsible for QAing and ensuring flawless deliveries of the creative elements needed to fulfill client’s dynamic media plans. The Jr. PM will be extremely organized, detail oriented, and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sr. PM to develop and maintain project timelines and concurrent workstreams; work with teams to stay on schedule to hit internal and external milestones
  • Manage internal review schedules, clearly communicating expectations, objectives and next steps
  • Maintain and circulate hot sheets / lead status team meetings to provide clarity of tasks and responsibilities, while also ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed
  • Ongoing collaboration with Creative leads and Resource Managers on creative casting and resource allocations, flagging any resource needs/conflicts/changes as they arise.
  • Assist Sr. PM maintain financial health of the project pulling burning reports and participating in weekly budget tracking as needed
  • Work closely with the PM/AM leads to lead and organize and communicate asset specs and delivery dates/traffic instructions between teams, so the creative leads know exactly what to deliver, when.
  • Manage QA, trafficking and delivery of final creative assets.


About You

The essentials:

Process builder - Details are their thing! Folder structures? Massive google sheets? No problem. They can follow an organizational process, and if necessary, adapt it to fit specific client or team needs. 

Asset expert - You get specs. They don’t have to be a designer or an editor, but they should be able to know what questions to ask and be able to pass along details to a creative team in a way that’s easy to understand.

A knack for QA - You have experience checking the specs and quality of creative files before a project is finalized and delivered, or they’re detail-oriented enough to become a natural at it. They’re a cross-checker and perfectionist at heart.

  • 2+ years of agency or similar experience
  • You are seeking to make a large impact on a team
  • You possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • You have a motivated work ethic and superior organization and communication skills
  • Experience managing complex projects with stellar attention to detail
  • Must be a thoughtful, critical thinker & strong listener to help understand priorities at the micro and macro level
  • Familiar with lower, mid and upper funnel creative process (performance marketing to 360 campaigns)
  • Work comfortably and have an understanding of media formats across a range of channels, platforms and deliverables including social, digital, OOH, email, and web. The majority of deliverables will span social creative and digital video/display.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to bring people together, strengthen team relationships while motivating teams to produce great work.
  • Experience partnering with a range of creative types including but not limited to copywriters, art directors, designers, motion graphics artists, and editors
  • Solution-oriented
  • Client-facing experience and/or post-production experience a plus

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

$55,000$70,000 USD
