About the role:
We're currently seeking a proactive and technically savvy person to join the team of Product Managers, working on one of our products - First Connect (FC) which brings a powerful tool to the table: a comparative rater. This feature allows insurance agents to input data once and receive multiple insurance quotes for their clients. How? By leveraging integrations with external data sources. It's a game-changer, we might say.
Our goal is to integrate more and more insurance companies through APIs to offer their insurance products and YOU will support this area, managing and coordinating engineering efforts to ensure successful third-party integrations. That's why a blend of technical acumen, hands-on experience in business analysis, project management and API testing might be extremely helpful.
What will you do?
- You'll take ownership of carrier integration efforts across the board (with support and guidance from our Senior Product Manager).
- You'll collect and analyze carriers' requirements, distilling them into actionable plans.
- You'll collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain carrier integrations, ensuring effective communication between these groups.
- You'll test and validate APIs to ensure business goals are met.
- You'll monitor and analyze integration metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- You'll ensure timely delivery of integration projects while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
We might be a match if you…
- Have at least 1 year of experience in business analysis, project management (with backend products), or related technical roles (e.g. Quality Engineer, Software Engineer).
- Have a hands-on experience with API testing.
- Can dive into the technical documentation and have a deep understanding of SDLC.
- Have worked with cross-functional teams and external partners and know how to facilitate effective communication between them.
- Know how to analyze requirements and translate them into user stories.
- See yourself as skilled in workload and time management, with a knack for organizing and monitoring things.
- Feel comfortable with rapidly changing business needs typical of a fast-growing company.
- Have a good command of English (both written & spoken).
- Are available in the afternoons - due to collaboration with the United States, evening meetings may occur.
You will get extra points for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing,
- Experience in product management.
