Reporting into the Senior Planner, your key objectives in this role will be to enhance customer satisfaction, optimise stock management, drive growth, and maximise margins in the exciting, fast-paced world of Trinny London.

The Role 

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Support our Senior Planner on business forecasting, considering the specific needs of varying channels and markets, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Fully plan and trade own department, ensuring 100% stock availability at sku level is maintained at all times 
  • Managing category WSSIs and supporting Senior Planner on updating business Topline view.
  • Build department strategy and support Senior Planner to drive growth and deliver business targets.
  • Carry out detailed analysis of current and past performance to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Provide regular & ad-hoc analysis to the business at product/category/channel level.
  • Support Promotion Planning.
  • Produce and develop world class reporting.
  • Build collaborative relationships across all departments including Product Innovation, Ecommerce, Finance, Ops, Retail and Marketing teams.
  • Analyse key weekly / quarterly trade figures supporting the needs of the Quarterly Trade Review.

Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Demonstratable experience working at Assistant Merchandiser level.
  • The ability to develop strategic direction but also a trader who can react in the moment.
  • Ability to communicate at a senior level, and to key stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing your own categories.
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially Excel & Merchandising systems.
  • The ability to work well as a team and by yourself.
