How you will contribute to Skroutz vision
We are looking for a Junior People Partner to join our People Operations team.
Your goal as the Skroutz Junior People Partner is to drive the full people agenda in your assigned Department(s) while supporting the rest of the People Partners team with day-to-day tasks like recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records and assisting payroll and benefits.
What you will be doing
Indicatively, as a Skroutz People Partner you will:
- Cultivate close and effective relationships with People Managers and their teams, while acting as a trusted people advisor to identify and achieve shared objectives, coaching, advising, and supporting them with their people plans, talent needs and employee relations support
- Support the Partners team with day-to-day tasks
- Lead and execute hiring initiatives, external and internal
- Participate and provide insight into Performance management events
- Analyze people metrics and drive action plans that will ensure team happiness and effectiveness. Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics
- Provide advice and guidance on any issues that your team is facing
- Champion Skroutz Values and Culture, being their ambassador and supporting the continual embedding of them in everything we do
Requirements
You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar People Partner role with the following attributes:
- HR Expert: strong HR Knowledge including practices around Talent Acquisition, Performance Mgmt, Employee Relations, Comp & Ben, HR policies, and employment laws
- Strategic Thinking is your key skill: you have the ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues and assess the impact of HR related decisions on the business while anticipating future needs
- Relationship building fan: with your excellent interpersonal skills, you develop trust and credibility in order to be a valuable partner towards all stakeholders
- Communication Skills: you have strong both verbal/ written communication skills being able to adapt your communication style depending on the audience and situation
- Insights admirer: you are comfortable working with data and analytics to drive insights and decision making
- Leading by example is your motto: you demonstrate leadership qualities. You inspire and motivate, acting as a trusted advisor both to managers and individual contributors
- ‘No learning rest for the wicked’: as the world keeps evolving, you being an HR Pro, you stay committed to staying up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices
- Marketplace Industry Savvy: having Tech, Product Development, Marketplace and/or eCommerce related biz Acumen will win you a head start
