  • Operate as experienced team member of audit- and advisory assignments;
  • Lead the audit of complex items in the (consolidated) financial statements and determine a major part of the audit strategy;
  • Leverage your knowledge to participate in discussions with clients, determine their needs from a business perspective, examine their alignment with financial reporting standards and advise them on the opportunities offered by these standards;
  • Write and review position papers in response to complex reporting issues (IFRS/NL GAAP) that our clients are facing;
  • Support clients in the process of financial reporting with audit readiness assistance and the preparation/review of (draft) annual accounts;
  • Review internal control, in order to provide support in rationalizing or improving the control framework.

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Manager Auditor & Audit Advisory:

  • Completed Bachelor / (Post) Master degree in Accountancy / Controlling / Finance / Economics. Qualified CA(SA)/CPA or finishing RA or ACCA education;
  • 4 - 5 years of experience within Audit or similar role;
  • Good knowledge of IFRS; NL GAAP and US GAAP considered a plus;
  • Excellent command of English in word and writing; Dutch considered a plus.

As Junior Manager Audit & Audit Advisory, you operate as an experienced professional in both an audit and advisory capacity. You use your knowledge of accounting, internal control and finance maturity to work in a broader perspective. During busy season, you impress with your audit knowledge and expertise. Simultaneously, you also develop your career as an advisor where you investigate complex issues, make recommendations/observations and translate them into powerful and pragmatic solutions for the client. Not only does your focus lie on professional aspects; you also play a crucial role in the cooperation with the client. Your involvement with advisory projects broadens your perspective as an auditor, whilst your focus on audit quality supports your technical skills as advisor giving you best of both worlds. Your career naturally develops further based on what you enjoy (audit, audit advisory or a combination of both) and in consultation with your career coach.
