About the role

Join our HR team based in Brighton and play a crucial role in helping us to deliver a world-class HR service to our colleagues. You will focus on providing support on any case work, attendance management and health & wellbeing discussions, this could be from an administrative view and at times leading the discussion. This is a 6 month fixed term contract to cover maternity but with a potential to be extended subject to workload.

  • Provide support to our people managers to effectively support their teams in accordance with HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Collect and analyse HR employee data, communicating results (where appropriate) to relevant stakeholders. Where further advice, or adjustments may be needed, work with third party providers and our managers to implement reasonable support plans and adjustments.
  • Providing advice and assistance on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the HR database and providing accurate advice and support to managers on HR issues.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues from across the business to undertake project work, build capability and promote the HR Brand.
  • Promote HR best practices and consistency throughout the company.

What are we looking for?

  • Some experience within a HR role and exposure to case work, attendance management.
  • Some experience in employee well-being, equality diversity & inclusion, and attendance management would be advantageous.
  • HR administration experience is a must have.
  • CIPD Level 3 as a minimum however equivalent experience is also accepted.
