Junior Estimator - Risley

Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Junior Estimator based out of our Risley offices.

Basic Salary – £25,000 per annum

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Junior Estimator’s

Our Passive Fire Division works in Fire Protection of Construction, specifically Fire doors and Passive fire. The company fosters a developmental culture that supports the growth and advancement of its staff through the business into more senior roles, with specialised development programs to get them to the next stage of their career.

In this role, you will be assisting the Head of Passive fire supporting a variety of commercial activities:

  • Logging inquiries
  • Producing quotations
  • Budgeting
  • Preparing proposals
  • Effectively communicating with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontract labour.

This is an office-based role in Nottinghamshire with occasional site travel.

Our ideal candidate will either have some experience in estimating or a graduate looking for the first step in their career. You will have a desire to receive training, work in a close-knit team, and progress your career within a rapidly growing company.

  • Graduate in a relevant field or some previous estimating experience.
  • Self-motivated with strong commercial focus.
  • Confident in Excel & Microsoft
  • Energetic with enthusiasm and confidence
  • Adaptable, flexible and challenge driven
  • Customer service orientated
  • Good attention to detail but high output nevertheless
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence
