Location: Navi Mumbai
Qualification: Masters in Statistics, Economics or any quantitative field
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in macro-economic time series modelling to support the innovation and development of new analytical offerings.
- Collaborate with economists to uncover trends, extract and present relevant information using data analytics and visualization tools.
- Work with geospatial data (earth observation satellite) and models for risk assessment (credit, macroeconomic scenario).
- Create web-based dashboards using open-source techniques.
- Implement data governance activities to regularly improve data, maintenance processes and workflows to deliver data meeting quality standards.
- Gather technical requirements, analyse business processes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- 5-7 years of analytical modeling experience with expertise in time series, statistics, and econometrics for model building and maintenance
- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or quantitative field.
- Proficient in Python, ARIMA< Java, Spark, SQL, Excel VBA, Power Query and working with APIs
- Experience in new technologies and techniques, developing predictive solutions, statistical analysis, including NLP, image processing, web scraping, using Machine Learning (clustering, decision tree, neural nets, NLP) techniques.
- Comfortable working on big data (large & diverse): tabular, satellites sensor data, text, voice & images for processing & forecasting
- Expertise in visualization and BI tools including Power BI, & Tableau.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels.
