Junior Corporate Development Analyst

Full-Time

Your key focus will be: 

  • Produce and support commercial and economic analysis to support the development of commercial solutions, including autonomous project finance models and discounted cashflow models
  • Research into Carbon Clean’s target markets and the value chains required to deliver our products and services. Including, but not limited to, carbon pricing, competitor benchmarking and valuation analysis and regional policy incentives. 
  • Support the ESG reporting framework for the Company – providing information and inputs as required across the business.  
  • Support the collation of due diligence materials in support of value chain alliances, M&A activity and fundraising. 
  • Contributor to the global ‘partner playbook’ for the business. Utilizing the information flow from other team members to ensure appropriate and live mapping of opportunities and news flow, with continual reiteration so there is a firm knowledge of what Key Players are doing to solve global decarbonisation issues. 
  • Operate with a consistent, confident, and open communication style.  

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience: 

 

  • Demonstrates a high attention to detail. 
  • Can quickly find and organize financial and non-financial research data. 
  • Experience with financial modelling and producing informative forecasts and other financial analysis.  
  • Demonstrates an ability to conduct well-rounded financial and non-financial due diligence for transactions. 
  • Demonstrable experience and application in Microsoft Office. 
  • Completes routine and non-routine work, responding positively to guidance from their Line Manager where needed. 
  • Demonstrable skill in written and verbal communication, drafting and editing materials to present complex content to senior stakeholders. 
  • Fundamental interest in global energy transition technologies.  
  • Able to demonstrate working experience of cross-functional alignment to the Company’s four core values – Innovation, Collaboration, Agility and Excellence.
