The Junior Consulting Analyst supports large, complex information technology (IT) programs in evolving technology and supports data analysis and visualization to improve both mission and technology results on a fast-paced, dynamic environment on a high-performing team. Candidates have at least 2 years of technology, consulting, and/or data analysis and visualization experience and a strong interest in supporting government clients. They have the ability to support a wide range of technology and program support services and special projects.

Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technology, consulting, and data analysis and visualization support to large-scale Federal government projects in a mission-critical environment.
  • Develop a strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements
  • Support Government projects to implement technology and engineering initiatives
  • Define and assist gathering business and technical requirements to address Governmental, policy, third-party, and stakeholder changes and requests
  • Collect, cleanse, analyze, and visualize data to drive mission-driven insights for clients to use in decision-making on large technology programs
  • Monitor and track IT compliance requirements
  • Support Agile development oversight, software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance
  • Apply and enhance excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
  • Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in information technology, consulting, and/or data analysis and visualization
  • Strong interest on using technology and data solutions to solve mission challenges for Federal government clients on long-term consulting programs and projects
  • Experience working on IT projects utilizing an Agile or similar software engineering lifecycle and tools such as Jira
  • Demonstrated experience developing Tableau and Power BI reports based on client and stakeholder requirements
  • Ability to develop queries and use existing data structures to create actionable data analytics
  • Experience supporting and testing cloud-based technology stacks (e.g. AWS, Java, Postgres database, web services, XML, Soap UI, JMeter)
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
  • Excellent attention to detail in creating compelling presentations and decision documents to help clients make critical decisions about the future of their organization
  • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
  • Education: At least a bachelor's degree
  • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a fast-growth consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $112,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
