Junior Business Analyst (m/f/d)

The Junior Business Analyst is closely cooperating with the Business Analysts teams which are responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess figures and processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven reports that support business decisions. You’re reporting to the Senior Business Analyst and you’re working in close cooperation with the Gaming Unit Management, Business Analysts, Account Management and Sales as well as with the Sportradar finance and controlling teams.

The role needs a high interest in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting combined with an understanding of key performance indicators.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Improve data accuracy input and help build reports that will help the product account manager team and the sales team in their daily sales activities
  • Prepare product-specific ad hoc reports, analysis and product sales info sheets to assist the product sales team and unit management
  • Proactively manage revenue accuracy within the Gaming Unit. Ensuring alignment and governance across delivery, and contracts, as well as being the go-to person for any invoicing reporting-related questions (internal and external). 
  • Monthly revenue pace: Generate the Gaming Unit revenue pace report + key deviation explanations at the beginning, mid and end of the month.
  • Customer performance monitoring: Periodically and on-demand (internal and external requests) customer business analysis, outlining problems and opportunities. Report the results and give improvement recommendations to the key stakeholders.
  • Product performance monitoring: Periodically and on-demand (internal and external requests) product performance checks and report the results to the key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and facilitate a feedback loop between product teams
  • Support the several product teams with monitoring contracts that are due to be renewed, as well as new deals in the pipeline
  • A successfully completed university degree in business administration, or computer science (Bachelor, Diploma / Master) or a comparable field of study
  • First, working experience through an internship in the Sports, Betting or Media industry is considered plus
  • Be an energetic self-starter with the ability to take ownership, manage risk and be accountable for deliverables
  • Process analysis, optimization and creation is important for you
  • Experience in project management
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), VBA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and the talent to translate projects to all audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset and agile approach.
