About the Role

Our client is seeking a beginner-level animator to create a short animation based on the story of a farmer and his four sons. The selected candidate will be responsible for bringing this project to life through their animation skills. This is a remote work opportunity with the potential for follow-up collaborations based on the results of the initial project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a creative interpretation of the story, incorporating a unique variation or twist to the narrative
• Produce an animated sequence that is a maximum of 90 seconds in length, showcasing the animator's skills and storytelling abilities
• Utilise a range of animation techniques, such as 2D or stop-motion, to bring the characters and environments to life

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in animation, with a portfolio showcasing beginner-level work
• Proficiency in using animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, or any other industry-standard tools
• Ability to interpret and translate a narrative into a short, engaging animated sequence
• Strong storytelling skills and a creative approach to bringing characters and environments to life
