Junior Analytical Consultant

WHAT’S THE JOB?  

Would you like to have a job within the grocery and convenience retail business? In this role, you will work closely with clients and helping them to make better decisions based on insights and NielsenIQ data.

 

Hybrid work structure (2-3 days a week in the office)

 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Build a strong partnership with the client and delight the client by delivering analytical insights, presentations and thought leadership in line with commitments.  
  • Contributing to client retention by sharing data insights, support the client needs within data driven decisions to support their business.  
  • Analyzing information and contributing to presentations with other team members.  
  • Working in NielsenIQ’s tools and systems.
  • A few days a month you work onsite the clients.

 

WHAT’S THE PERFECT CANDIDATE? 

  • Analytical thinking and approach
  • Ability to draw conclusions from a lot of data that are to the point and   visualized in a simplified way
  • Orientation to details and an analytical approach
  • A good listener with for the client-facing part, excellent presentation and communication skills

 

Key requirements:  

  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business or similar
  • Analytical and/or sales experience in a client-facing role, preferably from the market research industry.  
  • Ability to build trust and engage the client.  
  • An engaged and ambitious mindset, not afraid of challenging the status quo.  
  • Good numerical confidence and ability to translate numbers into insights and recommendations.  
  • Strong presentation skills.  
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
