The Role!
This is the ideal role for someone with B2B customer success experience, who’s looking for their first steps towards account management. You’ll collaborate closely with other members of the Commercial team to ensure that our partners are set up to be successful.
As an Account Manager, you will be one of the pioneering members who are responsible for managing a defined portfolio of major clients and positively contribute to expanding business relations and the retention of existing clients.
What will you do?
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients.
- Help the clients through email, phone, online/virtual presentations, screen-share and in person meetings.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, client stakeholders.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to clients’ needs and objectives.
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecast and track key account metrics/goals.
- Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our service.
- Liaise between the customer and internal teams.
Who are you?
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in the shipping/logistics field is a preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.

- Experience with CRM system is a plus.
