The Junior Business Controller is mainly responsible for controlling, reporting, and making analysis/calculations related to cost prices/margins/Inventory.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Main area 1:
- Analyze and make calculation to determine value of Company’s stock position
- Tasks:
- - Monthly reporting of the company’s financial stock position
- - Work together with Logistics to gather and evaluate stock information
- - Controlling Inventory related balance positions
- - Analyzing margins and costing/PPV/PO currency variances
- - Monitoring and controlling Royalty Agreements between BV and it
- customers
- - Responsible for costing process within the accounting department
- - Make cost price analysis
- Main area 2:
- Assisting in month- quarter- and year-end closing activities
- Tasks:
- - Prepare financial data for month, quarter and/or year-end closing
- - Determine correct inventory valuation reserves
- Main area 3:
- Assisting in Budget and Forecast process
- Tasks:
- · Monthly forecasting including actual vs forecast analysis
- · Yearly budgeting including actual vs budget analysis
- Main area 4:
- Various accounting activities.
- Task:
- · 10K Reporting
- · Assisting with (SOX/financial) audits
- · Credit checks on customers and suppliers
Required education and experience:
- University or Bachelor degree in Finance/Controlling/Accountancy
- 0-2 years working experience
Required expertise and skills:
- Accuracy
- Analytical
- Hands-on
- Self-starter who possesses an attention to detail
- Strong time management, organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Excel to make complex analyses
- Good knowledge of English (verbally and in writing)
