Software Developers-- We’re building a dynamic engineering team with a real-world cyber mission focus. Seeking candidates who are highly motivated to put their knowledge into play developing, deploying and maintaining advanced, complex operational networks. Seeking talent for Fort Eisenhower (formerly Fort Gordon), GA.  These are full time positions with hybrid work potential, and available upon award in June 2024. Clearance requirement: Active TS (w/SSBI) / SCI eligible with CI poly.

Duties involved:

• Perform duties as the onsite Tier 3 FSR.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the software components and IaC necessary for the patch management Initiatives.
• Collaborates closely with the systems engineers and CFTs to ensure that patching software requirements are aligned with infrastructure capabilities and constraints
• Automates patches for releasing through the JCAP software factory and CI/CD pipelines
• Works with the necessary team members in MD and TX to deploy patch releases
• Troubleshoots any issues with CFT software releases or JCAP software issues onsite

Clearance requirement: Active TS (w/SSBI) / SCI eligible minimum

Four (4) year college degree in software development or computer science, and five (5) years' experience of software development for systems in a production environment, or in lieu of education ten (10) years of experience of software development for systems in a production environment.

Must be familiar with a variety of scripts, programming languages, and operating systems. Examples of relevant computer programming languages currently used to design and deploy components that include, but are not limited to: C#, Python, PowerShell, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, WSDL, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, Microservices Architecture

Experience to include:

  • Identifying technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applications by authoring original software programs
  • Designing and authoring original software applications from a high level, non-specific set of concepts provided by the government
  • Writing programs that achieve a desired outcome or workflow from nothing more than observation of desired outcomes, workflows, or from vague original concepts #CJ
  • Producing specifications and design documentation including: Process flow, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web service interface specifications, data dictionary, data model
  • Creating project work estimates
  • Implementing solutions and identify operational or management issues
  • Systems designing, policy development, and database development and management, and user interface development
  • Utilizing available Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software to the maximum extent practicable in designing software applications, avoiding implementation of a proprietary system
