Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Engineer to join our team to help us design and build a number of integration PoCs across multiple systems for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering API & data integration solutions on Microsoft’s Azure Platform. Responsibilities Developing Azure based APIs and Microservices  Developing Event Driven services and integrating with existing client platforms. Delivering and presenting Proofs of Concept variants Ensuring that platforms and data solutions can be deployed and operated in a highly repeatable and predictable manner You will take part in peer review of team deliverables, attend and take part in agile ceremonies, and demonstrate delivery of your work to client stakeholders at the end of each sprint Manage own priorities and performance to deliver high quality, highly performant solutions Documenting your work and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes Integrating Azure platforms in a manner which allows the management and provision of data in a secure and reliable manner Lead and support the other developers in the team Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues We are looking for someone that has: Very strong, in-depth and demonstrable hands-on experience with the large numbers of the following technologies: Microsoft .Net C# or Python Azure App & API services: Web Apps, Serverless Functions, APIM Event Services: Azure Event Hubs, Schema registry, Azure Service Bus and Event Grid Data:  Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Cosmos DB Infrastructure and DevOps: Docker, Azure DevOps Developing high performance Event Driven Microservices (e.g. CQRS, event streaming/sourcing, CloudEvents, AsyncAPI). Good knowledge of designing & integrating with GraphQL & RESTful APIs  Understanding of object-oriented practices and design patterns, SOLID principles & DDD  Experience with a test driven development methodology (TDD or BDD) and frameworks such as NUnit and SpecFlow  Working knowledge of continuous delivery and continuous integration to deliver software incrementally and in an agile way (git, gitFlow, Azure DevOps, Infra as code, Azure application insights,  etc…)  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology as part of a wider team Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers Excellent communication and teamwork skills Fluent in English  Here are some other skills and experience that would be considered a plus for this role: Possession of either the Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions or Architecting Microsoft Azure certifications. Experience in GraphQL API implementation using HotChocolate  Experience with Azure Observability tools  Microsoft Azure Identity Management and Security technologies including custom JWT & SAML 2.0 providers Experience with security and compliance best practices including securely processing PII data  Experience with Observability tools  Knowledge of SAST/DAST tools  #LI-BM2
