I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Senior QA in Colombia to join our dynamic team for an exciting project with a multinational company from the beverage industry.
Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality of our web, chatbot, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and manual testing, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving and proactivity skills. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for web, chatbot and app components
- Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve bugs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of software.
- Application of concepts such as the Test Pyramid
- Execute different types of test as regression, sanity, exploratory and acceptance testing
Must-Have Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with different test automation frameworks and methodologies (BDD, TDD), specifically Playwright and Appium, for web-based and mobile applications.
- Ability to write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Expertise in API Testing (RESTful APIs, understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication mechanisms) also familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API automation, including scripting and automated test execution.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Test Design, Test Execution).
- Capable of conducting thorough manual tests to identify, record, and document bugs.
- Understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how testing integrates.
- Advanced English and Spanish levels for conversation.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Understanding Continuous Integration and deployment processes and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps · GitHub Actions).
- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) besides Playwright and Appium.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment.
