CI&T is looking for a talented and passionate Senior QA to join our growing team.You will be responsible for coordinating QA activities for IT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in and implementing the test strategy, making sure the requirements are testable, writing and executing manual tests, and supporting the approved test strategy.This position will contribute to project efforts for high-quality deliverables according to the team’s goals and the client’s priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage over 5 years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical test cases for thorough coverage of new features, focusing on manual testing techniques.
- Create and execute manual test scenarios and detailed test cases that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected results, ensuring all functionalities are thoroughly validated.
- Create and update test documentation for technical and non-technical staff.
- Work independently to achieve goals in a fast-paced agile team environment, with a strong focus on manual testing activities.
- Utilize defect tracking, test cases, and test requirements in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Apply a wide range of software test engineering concepts, including testing principles, defect tracking, risk analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Generate suitable test data to validate critical requirements and business rules.
- Collaborate closely with testers and development teams to ensure effective implementation of test cases/plans.
- Drive manual testing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring thorough coverage and quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of agile development and its best practices.
You Need to Have Experience With:
- 5+ years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with international clients;
- Minimum B2 level (upper-intermediate);
- CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience5+ years of experience with ADO(Azure DevOps) or similar defect-tracking systems;
- Experience with API TestingFamiliarity with REST architecture and handling/manipulating JSON/XML documents;
