We are looking for a talented and inquisitive JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software development and will contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. The role entails designing, building, and maintaining web applications. You will work with front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring our platforms are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work independently on projects, managing the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company’s tech stack remains current.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user guides.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a JavaScript Developer.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, and other backend technologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills and an initiative-taking attitude.
- Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, concepts, and technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience with React preferred.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.

- The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Individual salaries are determined through multiple factors permitted by law including but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certification, knowledge, skills and qualifications. WG also offers a comprehensive benefits package and performance award (bonus) eligibility where you’ll be recognized and rewarded based on your performance.
