Our Customer is a leading global provider of cutting-edge payments technology solutions, dedicated to shaping the future of financial transactions worldwide. We currently have several gaps in our defenses against enumeration attacks on the 3DS rails and need a seasoned Java engineer with Security best practices to improve the following areas:
•Detection: our ability to detect enumeration attacks on the 3DS rails in real-time is virtually non-existent.
•Intervention: we currently don’t have the technical ability to block enumerations in real time
•Remediation: there is no team that can block transactions and engage with clients to remediate (ROCC/PFD fulfills that function for the authorization rails).
As of today, our main mitigation approach is to block merchants that suffer extreme, unmitigated attacks. This approach only solves for the most extreme of cases and is not preventative, it is a reactive approach that is applied after the attack has done significant damage. Enumeration attacks (and our lack of defenses) has been an intense source of client frustration and complaints, which we want to mitigate. Thus this recruitment was opened.
Additional note:
This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.
