Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, manage and provide vision to the Asia Pacific team for the delivery of business development and sales and customer success related activities.
- Prospect, develop and close enterprise customers for Contrast’s application security software products in Asia Pacific both directly and through partners, to sell, renew, and expand, upsell new products and services to existing customers.
- Cross-collaborate across the entire management team and close partnership with the key innovation stakeholders including the Product organization to determine true ways to grow revenue with a crucial long-term perspective in mind
- Attain quarterly and annual performance goals and quota targets.
- Have a passion to win and the ability to lead by example, while displaying gratitude in your everyday interactions.
- Sell the Contrast Security vision to prospects through product demonstrations, events and target-specific initiatives with partners.
- Qualify opportunities, and allocate time and resources accordingly.
- Drive customer expansion and transformation of the business to support a both a net-new logo, and multi-channel sales strategy with a multi-product portfolio.
- Manage large, global enterprise prospect and customer evaluations, proof of concepts, and any RFP/RFIs directly and with partners, utilizing the SE team and our Sales Ops and Compliance teams.
- Develop and execute on territory and account plans to deliver maximum revenue potential, manage sales activities and updates, and create and deliver accurate forecasts inSalesforce.com.
- Solve complex business problems for our customers.
- Be a good team player and work with sales, sales ops, customer success, marketing, finance and HR as needed to support the company and achieve results.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of field sales management/country manager experience in the Japan software/technology sector; experience in cyber-security or DevOps preferred.
- Lead from the front on key customer relationships and deal strategy.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive large scale organizational change and transformation to support overall organizational growth.
- Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor, motivate and instill operational rigor into the sales organizationBring outstanding leadership to the commercial function and broader organization.
- Experience managing and closing business with fortune 1000 companies.
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of company achievers) in past positions.
- Strong computer skills, includingSalesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, both in written and oral communication.
- BS/BA degree preferred.
