About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Workplace Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a seamless IT experience for employees, managing workplace technology, and participating in IT-related initiatives and projects. If you have a strong understanding of enterprise applications, basic scripting capabilities, and a passion for optimizing IT workflows, we’d love to hear from you!
Your Daily Tasks will Entail:
Manage and support IT enterprise platforms and infrastructure.
Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex IT issues across various platforms and systems.
Develop and maintain basic scripts to resolve daily IT administration tasks.
Collaborate with other colleagues and participate in IT initiatives and projects, ensuring timely execution of tasks and initiatives in alignment with business needs.
Oversee user account management, access control, and system security within enterprise applications.
Document technical solutions, best practices, and workflows to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
Participate in implementation of new IT tools and solutions to enhance productivity and security.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices for using IT systems effectively.
Your Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in a similar position.
Proven experience as an IT Workplace Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
Expertise in managing:
- Endpoints (e.g. Windows and MacOS);
- Collaboration and communication (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365);
- User provisioning and access management (e.g. Okta, Entra ID);
- Project and task management (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Confluence);
- Device management (e.g. Intune, Jamf, Addigy);
- ITSM applications such as Atlassian ServiceDesk;
- Other related IT workplace platforms will also be considered a plus.
Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar for automation and troubleshooting will be considered a plus.
Basic knowledge of IT Networking for troubleshooting and network setups.
Understanding of identity and access management, security best practices, and SaaS administration.
Experience working in an environment using structured request, task and project management tools and platforms.
Experience participating in IT projects and/or initiatives with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and find effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, etc.) will be considered a plus.
