Amsterdam “Infrastructure Operations” is a department within IT, having the overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of IT services in Statkraft, either through service providers or own resources. The team is also responsible for Process Management and local support globally.
We are now looking to strengthen our Local Technical Support team and seek an IT Technical Specilist in part (60%) or full-time to coordinate and handle local IT needs for the Amsterdam and Hertogenbosch office as well as suporting teams in other locations. You will work in a dynamic operational environment as part of our Operation Centre and Local Technical Support team, collaborating with a large IT environment (250+ employees) in continuous development. In your role you will:
- Handle issues requiring local physical presence and be available for the users requiring IT support and assistance.
- Handle and coordinate Events, Incidents, Service requests and Changes related to the local IT environment.
- Provide desktop swap‐out, Level 2 hardware and system software support to include but not limited to engineering workstations, laptops, desktops, smart phones/tablets and other devices as mutually agreed and defined.
- Provide technical support for special events such as annual meetings, board meetings, training sessions, for both internal/ external end users, etc...
- Provide informal end user trainings If applicable, rack mounting/unmounting of servers/network & security/backup device.
- Help troubleshooting/repairing hardware & software issues.
- Cooperate closely with other IT departments to ensure service delivery to all Statkraft sites Work as a Hand & Eye support for remote L2/L3 teams.
- Work out and maintain IT Operations documentation.
- Have the opportunity to participate in national and international infrastructure projects.
- Work experience within operation of Windows clients and servers, printers and video conferencing systems
- Knowledge about IT process management framework, preferably ITIL
- Ability to diagnose and fix complex hardware and software issues for desktops, servers, cloud services, and networks
- Quick learner who likes to work independently on assigned tasks
- Strong passion for working with information technologies
- Self-driven and energetic, able to perform under pressure
- Service orientated and professional Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English – written and spoken
- Some extend of travel might be required
