The Office in Seville is responsible for developing and maintaining the Upstream Data platform of Sportradar's world-leading sports betting services, providing data to hundreds of Bookmakers around the globe, seen by millions of users daily, and supporting more than 100k transactions per second.

OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a System Administrator to join the IT Operations Team, you will become part of an international company leading his sector and will work with a great technical team with high experience in advanced technologies. Your main goals will be supporting our servers where the software platform is running on and deliver the new releases across the different production environments.
This role will help our software platform to have better performance to achieve our business goals in the company and the uptime objectives in our production environments.
THE ROLE:
How Will Success Be Evaluated?
- Quality, accuracy and speed in the analysis and resolution of request reported by the second line of support.
- Quality and accuracy in incident reports.
- Quality and performance in the implementation of new projects as a member of a team.
- Quality in the creation of documentation.
- Achievement of the objectives set by the line manager.
- Response in On-Call service.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Configuration and support of virtual infrastructure (VMware).
- Configuration and support of cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud and AWS).
- Server deployment.
- Configuration and maintenance of the Monitoring System.
- Application deployment in production environments with IIS, JBoss Wildfly and Apache, following the standards of the Architecture Department and complying with the delivery dates of projects.
- Deployment, update and testing of third-party software in test and production environments.
- Preforming the On-Call support
- Log analysis
- Microsoft Windows infrastructure configuration and support: Microsoft Cluster, IIS, RDWeb.
- Configuration and support of the Linux infrastructure.
- Creation and maintenance of internal documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 3 years of experience in Windows or Linux Server administration.
- Teamwork attitude
- Ability to learn quickly new systems and technologies with the rest of the team.
- Ability to work in a business environment for betting / e-gaming.
- Administration of tasks from the beginning to the delivery. Ability to continue work initiated by other members of the department.
- Honesty and ability to learn from own mistakes
- Loyalty and commitment to the objectives of the department and the company.
- High-level knowledge of infrastructure virtualization.
- High-level knowledge in monitoring.
- Knowledge in the Internet infrastructure.
- High availability knowledge and Load Balancer.
- Experience in any Cloud Provider Management (Oracle Cloud, Amazon, Azure, Google).
- Docker, Kubernetes or any containerization experience would be a plus.
- Experience in a CDN Provider would be an advantage.
- Experience in any Patching Management Tool would be an advantage (WSUS, Spacewalk…).
