IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician is based in our Amsterdam office but is part of a larger European IT Services team. You will be responsible for day to day IT operations including all purchasing and management of end user hardware, software licensing, onboarding and offboarding for employees. In addition you may also be required to support the business during trade shows and other events.

We make use of world class cloud based applications that provide scalability and flexibility to the workplace. We are 70% macOS end user environment, with a number of Windows and Linux/Unix users.

You will be required to be in the office for a minimum of 4 days per week with one day working from home.

You’ll be responsible for:

In this role, you'll work with a variety of systems and tools to support our IT operations. You'll manage and support both macOS/OSX and Windows environments, with a focus on administering Google Workspace and ensuring smooth operations across collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, and Confluence. You'll also work with Jumpcloud for identity management and occasionally handle Google Meet hardware setups. Additional tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, 1Password, and Microsoft Office 365 will be part of your daily responsibilities. Experience with Vonage VOIP Telephony and a strong understanding of AV and security practices are also beneficial for this position.

  • Strong customer service skills,, ensuring a positive end-user experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build key internal and vendor relationships.
  • Confident in supporting macOS, Windows, and other platforms.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams across multiple regions and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of translating technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive approach to work, with experience in project management and excellent end-user interaction.
  • Open-minded, eager to learn, and able to present fresh ideas.
  • Experience in vendor management and hands-on support for hardware.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and practices.
  • Expertise in identity management systems like Google Workspace or Okta. Familiarity with SSO and MFA protocols.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
