Salary: $50,000-63,000 CAD


We're looking for a passionate, motivated, process oriented person to join our IT team in a fast growing AI company. You will be working alongside IT, security and compliance team members. Your main responsibility will be to provide IT support across the company, supporting the engineering team and contributing to the further development of a robust and compliant IT service at PolyAI.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide mostly remote IT support to all of our team across the company. Dealing with support queries coming in through Slack, email, or our Fresh Service ticketing platform.
  • Working with people team with onboarding and offboarding employees: Creating accounts, laptop delivery, allocating relevant access, following established procedures, and keeping thorough records.
  • Patch and security vulnerability remediation. Working with end users to ensure workstations are up to date and compliant. Utilizing Tenable Vulnerability Management, Desktop Central, Jamf, Intune to aid in this.
  • Helping us develop our processes by contributing to the writing and revision of IT documentation, IT security, and compliance policies and operating procedures.
  • Keeping our IT equipment and data inventories up to date.
  • Occasional travels to our North America offices to install/maintain IT/AV equipment, sort inventory, and provide support.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience as an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting MacOS is a requirement.
  • Experience in the use and administration of Google Workspace and/or Azure AD.
  • Previous experience with MDM/DEP solutions such as Jamf and/or Intune.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
