IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist is a hybrid position that works with the DevSecOps Lead to support MIM Software’s computer systems. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the DevSecOps Lead to provide end user technical support, track all workstations, order computer parts, repair incorrectly functioning computer equipment, set up and test customer workstations, and work with Operations personnel in performing shipping duties in relation to computer equipment for MIM Software. The IT Support Specialist also handles the creation and testing of USBs made for the distribution of MIM Software. 

We're looking for a creative, motivated IT Support Specialist to join our supportive team, add their experience to our own, and help us accomplish even more!

What You'll Do:

  • Set up and train new hires on MIM systems and procedures.  Support Windows, Mac & other computer devices
  • Provide technical support to remote and in office users addressing issues related to software, hardware, network, and other IT systems
  • Ship hardware to customers, remote employees, and tradeshows.
  • Track MIM’s devices, computers, servers, and software information
  • Suggest and implement improvements to our internal IT processes
  • Collaborate and work with various teams teams on various projects and assignments
  • Record and track all service requests and incidents in our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution
  • Work closely with the rest of the DevSecOps Team to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to technical support

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of command line, security permissions, networking, Event Viewer, Disk Management, and operating systems
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and iOS
  • Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware
  • Basic understanding of networks and networking tools
