Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is seeking an experienced, versatile and highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Team Europe based in Vimodrone (MI).
This position requieres business travel to other sites if needed.
Overall Objectives:
- Assist with the preparation and execution of the eLIMS-BPT deployment;
- Provide comprehensive software L1 support for eLIMS-BPT in Europe once deployed;
- Coordinate with infrastructure team to provide support for issues that go beyond software.
Primary Responsabilities:
LIMS Support
- Unique point of contact for European Sites
- Level 1 support: First point of contact (FPOC), classify request in ServiceNow, solve requests or transfer requests to relevant department (IT infra, Development)
- Escalate details of software issues to appropriate software development teams (US/IN)
- Provide data extractions to EU laboratories using SQL
- TSE servers, file servers, database administrator
- Hardware management (Printers, label printers, scanner) – Coordination with Site Infrastructure teams
- Coordinate deployment of Software Updates
Other Assignments:
Serve on eLIMS-BPT Deployment Team
- Perform site assessments to determine infrastructure needs to support transition to eLIMS-BPT
- Assist in establishing necessary infrastructure to support eLIMS-BPT prior to deployment
- Work with deployment team to coordinate UAT and other site validation activities
- A relevant educational background in IT
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and excellent in English, verbally and in writing
- Pro-active, service-oriented mindset and a strong focus on the quality of work
- Flexible and willing to work outside of core business hours when required
