Position Overview:
We are looking for an IT Support & Security Analyst who thrives on combining technical acumen with a proactive stance on IT support and cybersecurity. Your role is pivotal in safeguarding our IT infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure, as well as highly productive and reliable. You'll tackle a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from swift troubleshooting and hands-on technical support to strategic enhancements of our IT and security systems. Your contributions will be key to bolstering our operational effectiveness and maintaining our security integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Spearhead the onboarding and off-boarding processes, including comprehensive laptop provisioning, security training, and updates, to ensure a seamless transition for employees.
  • Administer and secure a large fleet of MacOS devices with enterprise systems like Kandji, ensuring smooth operation and strong security measures.
  • Work in tandem with global teams to provide unified support for Mac devices, networking, and access management, fostering an integrated IT infrastructure.
  • Initiate projects to refine our global IT systems, with a focus on automation and enhancing the end-user experience in line with evolving business needs.
  • Become proficient in our security policies, SOC2 controls, and public-facing documentation, ensuring a deep understanding of our security framework.
  • Deploy and manage security monitoring tools such as EDR, network monitoring, and DLP, contributing to our proactive security posture.
  • Participate in investigative efforts to tackle critical issues, applying meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Diagnose and address a wide variety of IT challenges, from setting up new users to resolving complex technical queries and offering in-person help desk support.
  • Manage the office’s technical infrastructure, ensuring that AV systems, meeting rooms, and the overall setup facilitate optimal productivity.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, establishing benchmarks for operational excellence and security protocols.
  • Research, implement, and manage new tools to optimize internal workflows and enhance team efficiency across the organization.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support, security, or a related technical role, boasting broad knowledge across various information security domains.
  • Skilled in system administration and networking within UNIX-based systems like OS X and Linux.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in deploying and managing complex software tools, including Google Suite, Zoom, and Okta.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong passion for cybersecurity.
  • A proactive problem-solver and security analyst focused on improving system functionality and user satisfaction.
  • An independent team player adept at making informed decisions and leading global initiatives.
  • Exceptional at managing projects, capable of balancing diverse priorities and effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in the latest security, privacy, compliance, and IT audit best practices.
