Position Overview:
As an IT Graduate Apprentice, you will play a vital role in our Global IT Support team, providing first-class technical support to our internal users and ensuring smooth and efficient operations within Innovid's Corporate Systems. This apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience and mentorship, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in IT support. Additionally, you will be enrolled in a university program to earn a BSc in IT Management for Business, combining practical work experience with academic learning. 
This is a hybrid working position with 2 days a week in our Edinburgh office.
Apprenticeship Overview:
The Graduate Apprenticeship in BSc (Hons) IT Management for Business allows you to study for a degree while working. You spend around 80% of your time at work and 20% at university, gaining practical skills that align with your coursework. This integrated experience lets you complete an honors degree in four years, just like traditional full-time students.
The apprenticeship covers IT in a business context, including computing fundamentals, Business Analysis, Project Management, Service Management, and Operations. You apply these skills immediately in your job, developing a hybrid skill set while earning a fully-funded degree.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Support:
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
    • Provide timely and effective technical support through various phone, email, and in-person channels.
    • Document and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  2. User Assistance:
    • Offer guidance and training to users on the proper use of IT resources and applications.
    • Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
    • Support users in utilizing corporate systems and software efficiently.
  3. System Maintenance:
    • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Participate in regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance tasks.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to implement improvements and enhancements to existing systems.
  4. Project Involvement:
    • Contribute to IT projects, such as software deployments, network upgrades, and system migrations.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving IT services and processes.
    • Gain exposure to various aspects of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  5. University Placement:
    • Attend university part-time to earn a BSc in IT
    • Balance work responsibilities with academic requirements, ensuring success in both areas.
    • Apply academic learning to real-world IT support scenarios.
  6. Learning and Development:
    • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities provided by the company.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT support and technology.
    • Complete all assigned training modules and certifications within the apprenticeship program.
You should have:
  • Strong interest in IT support and a desire to build a career in this field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Willingness to balance work commitments with part-time university studies.
You must have ONE of the following to meet the University Standard Entry Requirements: 
  • Four SQA Highers at Grade BBBB (or equivalent) including Maths or Computing. National 5 grade C in Maths and English if not taken at Higher.
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in IT (SCQF Level 6) plus two SQA Highers at Grade BB.
  • Modern Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 6-7) in IT/Digital discipline.
  • HNC or HND in an unrelated field plus Higher Maths, Statistics, or Physics at Grade B.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) through relevant experience and qualifications.
Proof of qualifications on your CV is required for university entry.
Advanced entry into Year 2 or 3 is possible with suitable qualifications and experience through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.
