The Role

Are you a highly motivated IT professional with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving? Donorbox is looking for a part-time IT Support Generalist to support our global, remote team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Track, document and manage IT issues and resolutions through a ticketing system.
  • Provide detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolution.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation.
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktop computers, laptops, and network connectivity.
  • Provide technical support primarily for Mac workstations, with some exposure to Windows and Linux systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly in Mac environments.
  • Understanding of MDM solutions.
  • Experience with Google Workspace.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on providing excellent service.
  • Prior experience working remotely is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with a helpdesk/IT ticketing system is highly preferred.

Details

  • Fully remote based in Eastern Europe, Latin America, or United States
  • Part-time (4-6 hours a day)
  • Hourly: $11.50-$30 USD, based on experience and location
