About the Role

As our IT Support Engineer at LondonEnergy, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting IT systems across the organisation. You will be part of a dynamic IT team, responsible for managing and supporting over 390 users across seven locations in North London. You will be working within a fast-paced environment, managing a hybrid IT estate that includes both on-premises and cloud technologies. This role also includes some information security officer duties, where training and development would be provided, leading to potential progression.

LondonEnergyoperates the second largest waste contract in the UK, handling and processing nearly 750,000 tonnes of London’s waste every year. We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.

By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.

Responsibilities:

Day to day, you will be working within the ITIL V4 Framework, ensuring IT policies, procedures, and processes are followed.

Key duties include:

  • Support VMware 7.X vCenter/vSphere
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics 365 including Exchange Online and Active Directory (including Azure AD)
  • Manage Access Control (Paxton), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Email Security (Mimecast)
  • Handle Helpdesk Tickets via GoTo Resolve and administer Windows Server, Azure Cloud and Mobile Device Management (GoTo Resolve MDM)
  • Manage EDR/Anti-virus (Sophos)
  • Troubleshooting network issues (TCP/IP, Cisco/Extreme routing and switching)

Requirements

  • Experience Collaborating with third-party contractors to deliver IT architecture, installation and escalating additional IT support.
  • Experience delivering IT Engineering projects.
  • Experience resolving IT incidents and fulfil IT requests through the service desk
  • Experience in 2nd Line IT Engineering and support
  • IT training, certification and (or) degree
