The Job at a Glance

The IT Support Analyst provides support to the Parts Town end-user community and their corresponding technologies, including desktops, laptops, phones, mobile devices, wireless scanners, printers, etc. The IT Support Analyst (known as I Fix Everything, internally) resolves incidents by troubleshooting, communicating, and documenting issue resolution. You will participate in the implementation of new systems and upgrades and will contribute to the continuous improvement & innovation of the end-user technologies at Parts Town.

 

A Typical Day

  • Resolve service request and incidents in our Jira (helpdesk portal)
  • Perform computer, phone, printer, and other information technology adds/moves/changes.
  • Support internal employees via phone calls, chats, and ticketing system
  • Maintain Anti-Virus and data encryption systems and verify computers are current with security patches and virus definitions.
  • Set up office 365 email accounts and update active directory user groups and permissions
  • Create documentation in knowledge base to better serve our end-users.
  • Work on multiple projects to meet company deadlines.

 

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have at least 2 years’ experience in a technical support role, such as Help Desk, IT Remote Support, or Systems Operator
  • You ideally have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Sciences – or relevant work experience in a related field
  • You are able to work Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and have the ability to work one weekend per month
  • You demonstrate vast knowledge and experience supporting Laptop/Desktop computers, hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft SCCM and Windows Desktop operating systems, software (including MS Office)
  • You are well-versed with IT processes (e.g., ITIL, ITGC and PCI) 
  • You’re a multi-tasking pro and love working on multiple projects simultaneously and juggling priorities
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal)
