As a result of our growth and expansion, we're seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our London team. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that all employees have access to the hardware, tools and systems that will allow them to work effectively. This ranges from spec’ing and configuring new laptops, network maintenance, to grants permissions in our cloud accounts.

This role will involve working closely with the DevOps team and will be a great opportunity to learn (and get your hands dirty with) the tools and processes that help maintain 100% uptime on API’s that serve billions of requests per day.

Experience with specific tools and systems used is not essential for this part of the role but a desire to learn is and a love for the tech a major advantage. Knowledge of Linux and web application technologies is very beneficial.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the management and maintenance all office infrastructure:
    • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting mobile and desktop devices across the company.
    • Networking, audio/video equipment including conferencing systems.
    • Liaising with our 3rd party vendors for any requests we have.
  • Implementing (and improving/automating) company procedures:
    • New starter/leavers process.
    • Security of devices and third party systems.
    • Assessing the effectiveness of tools and systems and how we use them. Optimising and changing if needed.
  • Working with the Office team on any other relevant projects that require assistance i.e. set up for events, office tasks.
  • Investigating any system issues. Logging & tracking issue resolution on support ticket system.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in providing desktop support for devices running MacOS, Windows, and to a lesser extent Linux.
  • Firm grasp of networking concepts and practical understanding of wifi, subnetting, vlans, firewalls and NAT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - face-to-face and remotely.
  • Would be great if you have some experience with:
    • Google Workspace Administration
    • Management via Active Directory
    • Atlassian applications - Jira and Confluence
    • Python, Bash desirable not essential
    • VMware Workspace ONE
    • Slack, GoogleMeet, Github, LastPass
