About the Role:
We are looking for a diligent IT Specialist to join our IT department. While the primary focus of the role is on IT support, we are seeking a candidate who can take ownership of implementing new systems and improving existing ones. You will be responsible for setting up software and hardware, administering the local network, and providing IT support to our workforce, which includes both on-site and remote employees.
What you’ll do:
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software and hardware systems
- Administering and troubleshooting SaaS services (Google Workspace, MDM, Slack, Jira, Zoom, etc.)
- Supporting remote employees and multiple branch offices
- Performing network administration tasks, including managing FortiGate firewalls and wireless access points
- Managing IT assets effectively to ensure accurate tracking and availability
- Assisting with security-related tasks, administering Crowdstrike, SASE solutions
What you’ll need:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an IT specialist or in similar roles, with a strong track record of practical problem-solving
- Proficiency with macOS
- Proficiency in SaaS Systems Administration (e.g., Kandji MDM, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Zoom, Cloud VPN, etc.)
- Experience with network administration, including WiFi, LAN, and FortiGate firewalls
- Well-organized with strong IT asset management skills
- Security-focused mindset and experience with basic cybersecurity tasks
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
