IT Solution Project Manager

You will lead strategic IT Solution transition projects across Europe, including ITAAG transitions and eLIMS NG deployment projects. Your role will have direct exposure to business leadership and will require extensive coordination across many Eurofins teams and businesses.

Your responsibilities include leading and advancing ITAAG transition projects across Europe, overseeing the migration of the entire IT solutions landscape into IT Application Availability Groups within newly designed and fully segregated IT Infrastructure User Zones. Additionally, you will take the lead on Eurofins IT Solutions (EurIS) deployment projects throughout Europe, such as eLIMS NG deployment in existing Eurofins businesses and EurIS integration projects in newly acquired businesses.

It's crucial to ensure that your teams align with Eurofins' strategy and adhere to best practices and standards. Effective coordination between Eurofins teams and business stakeholders, including Group IT Solutions, Infrastructure, and Security teams, as well as local IT teams and Business Stakeholders, is essential across diverse nationalities and geographies.

You are tasked with defining and proactively sharing new best practices, standards, and policies for the mentioned activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of Eurofins' work processes. Establishing effective project governance and communication with senior business management, preparing steering committee meetings, and obtaining management approvals are key aspects of your role.

You will lead the definition and management approval of project objectives, scope, design, budget, planning, and resource allocation. Managing and controlling project scope, cost, planning, resources, risks, and delivery quality in line with agreed project targets and requirements is paramount.

Additionally, your responsibilities involve leading and coaching project teams, establishing effective and efficient project delivery and communication methods. Proactively identifying and mitigating project delivery risks and bottlenecks to ensure project progress despite challenges is a crucial aspect of your role.

All these activities are executed in accordance with agreed policies, best practices, and standards within Eurofins.

If you bring a proven track record in handling intricate IT transition or integration projects, preferably within a decentralised, international organisation we want to hear from you. Demonstrated skills extend to comprehending business requirements and processes concerning IT, showcasing a strong customer focus and adept stakeholder management will make you a good fit, as well as emphasising effective governance and decision-making by business management, and establishing lasting, trusted partnerships.

Your profile includes proven analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a hands-on and proactive project management style. Your willingness and proven ability to delve into details on both IT and business process-related matters contribute to your success. You exhibit commanding project leadership, ensuring follow-through with delivery team resources.

Your project management experience and discipline align with the adherence to processes in an increasingly agile/rapid development methodology. You possess a sound understanding of project management frameworks such as Waterfall/Agile, coupled with expert knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or other project management tools.

Your adaptability shows through as you navigate a decentralised, amorphous environment, delivering results by influencing individuals outside the hierarchy setup. Drawing from successful experiences, you have delivered results with international and geographically disparate teams, managing both local and remote resources and contending for heavily utilised centralised resources.

Verbal and written communication skills, along with a track record of direct collaboration with senior executive levels are essential. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is required, you also need to exhibit a willingness to travel and work extensively throughout Europe.
