Responsibilities

• Install and install products related to security solutions in the data center and test them on the test environment before starting to apply them to the actual environment.
• Conducting an assessment of the performance of security solutions periodically, and developing an action plan to increase its stability by replacing and upgrading the hardware, the operating system, or the settings on the system in the field.
• Planning and scheduling upgrades and updates necessary to fill security gaps in line with the controls and policies of the Cyber Security Center and to solve problems in systems
• Periodic review of applied policies and settings and disabling non-users from them, with the necessity of direct communication with stakeholders to ensure that they are not needed in the future.
• Ensure the stability of the remote VPN connection, in addition to improving the security of the connection.
• Ensure the stability of security solutions and the efficiency of their work.
• Ensure the stability of the use of Internet service and update policies and controls for safe use
• Launching electronic services on the Internet with the application of standards to secure these services from external threats
• Ensure continuity of access to electronic services through the distribution of loads and automatic transfer to the backup center in the event of a service interruption in the main center with readiness to access the main data center room and examine the problem physically
• Apply best practices to information and network security devices and applications.
• Manage and monitor all SSL security certificates to renew them and ensure business continuity without interruption in services, and communicate with the concerned owners of the systems before renewing their certificates and develop plans for change and testing of services.
• Management and maintenance of information and network security devices and security systems, including but not limited to:
• o Firewalls (Palo Alto-Panorama-FortiGate-FortiAnalyzer-FortiManager
• o FortiAuthenticator, VPN tunnel mode - VPN web mode)
• o Email Security Appliance-IronPort, Management appliance
• o Symantec web filtering (bluecoat), management center, reporter
• o F5 BIGIP (LTM, APM, ASM, GTM, AFM), F5 BIGIQ
• Take a backup copy of the settings on the devices periodically
• Make periodic performance reports for achievement
• Make reports on the efficiency of devices and the consumption of resources and data periodically and as needed
• Apply the powers of communication between parts of the network through the firewall and solve related problems
• Giving permissions to access the Internet and preventing it through proxy and solving related problems
• Giving the powers of remote communication, preventing it and solving related problems
• Securing e-mail through the e-mail protection system and blocking messages and addresses or passing them on to users according to the approved security policies
• Carry out the daily operations of the F5 load distributor including but not limited to TM, APM, ASM, GTM, AFM and solve related problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT security.
• A comprehensive understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
