What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Technology team. As our IT Project Manager, you will help to organize and coordinate cross-functional projects for the Technology team. You will be very organized with an aptitude for all aspects of multiple highly technical projects. Please note this role is not a remote position and is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Strategy & Planning
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders
- Effectively communicate project expectations and statuses to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
- Conduct project postmortems and create recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Operational Management
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- 5 to 7 years proven Project Management experience
- PMP certification preferred, but not required
- Ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written communication along with strong interpersonal skills
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
- Must be able to learn and understand new technologies
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
