Salary Range:
The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 yearly. The pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Portfolio Management Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced with data reporting and analysis, including presenting to multiple levels of management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insight into industry best practices.
- Manage and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across a multiple IT portfolio of IT and projects, using data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making within a government IT organization.
- Regularly monitor portfolio performance and identify trends and potential risks.
- Identify opportunities to refine data collection methods and improve the overall portfolio management reporting process.
- Provides support in evaluating and analyzing multiple portfolios of information technology-related work.
- Identify, manage, and analyze relevant KPIs/metrics for an IT portfolio and align them with organizational goals/strategies.
- Gather data from various sources and analyze the data against established metrics.
- Create visual dashboards and reports to present portfolio insights to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Monitor portfolio performance to identify trends & potential risks.
- Strong understand the meaning of the data they analyze, conclude, and communicate that information to others.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Specialize in independently instituting proven portfolio management concepts including business and IT alignment, prioritization, budgeting, identifying roles and responsibilities, and service delivery.
- Demonstrates expertise in applying creative solutions to highly complex business analysis efforts to help mature CIOO operations
- Exhibits strong communication skills by articulating ideas and concepts verbally and in writing, team facilitation, formal document writing, and presenting to senior executive groups.
- Has exposure to different organizations to see what challenges they have faced and to relay what has worked and what hasn’t worked.
- Ability to think beyond the task (do not want a taskmaster) – think broader!
- Ability to offer add-ons to the request.
- Must be adaptable since there is an ongoing functional transformation.
- Ability to support the vision/mission in any area of the team.
- Be process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, and self-directed.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills, mastery of portfolio management tools, and ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior-level personnel.
- Demonstrates high aptitude for problem-solving methodologies for highly complex issues using data-driven decision-making practices.
- No experience with a dashboarding tool is not a dealbreaker; we can always train someone on a tool.

- Must have a strong understanding of PM practices.
Nice to Have:
- ServiceNow experience & Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI & Power Apps)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field of study
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- An Active FDIC Public Trust Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
