We're seeking an experienced IT PMO with a strong background in Python programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution and delivery of IT projects while utilizing Python to automate processes and enhance data analysis. This role requires a combination of project management expertise and technical skills to drive efficiency and successes across multiple IT initiatives.
THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Manage and coordinate IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Use Python to automate project management tasks, data collection, and reporting processes.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals.
- Define and implement PMO processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance project efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clear project expectations and updates.
- Monitor and track project deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Provide risk management, change management, and resource planning support for ongoing projects.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future processes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Proven experience as a PMO or Project Manager in IT projects (5+ years).
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data analysis, and scripting.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
