IT Office Project Manager

An opportunity to join the IT team at an exciting inflection point to help us evolve and grow. The IT Office Project Manager will work closely with the IT Office Program Manager the Chief Information Office by assisting the day to day running of the IT office, in addition this role will also help the IT Office Program Manager roll out new ways of working, organizational changes, culture change and associated communications. This role will also help the IT Office Program Manager ensure that we are on top of all business as usual reporting, IT budget management and communications and ad hoc special projects

This role will predominately support the CIO and IT Office Program Manager to successfully run the IT department ensuring all governance, budgets, communications and any other tasks are completed on time.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Working with the IT Office Program Manager to aid of the new ways of working program, to include helping define and document new processed and procedures, culture change and associated training, management of any organizational changes and associated job descriptions
  • Aiding the IT Office Program Manager with the roll out and management of a formal IT governance cadence for all elements of the IT lifecycle, including documenting the processes and associated communications required
  • Coordinate the monthly updates to the IT budget, for both Change and Run, ensuring all departments adhere to budget and headcount, working with the leadership team and finance.
  • Being comfortable with ambiguity, the role will adapt to changing needs and priorities of the Company.
  • Helping write and send out all internal and external communications.
  • Assist on any  ad-hoc projects related to IT

To be considered you will have: 

  • Previously worked in an IT team
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn common and emerging IT ways of working, standards, frameworks, and measurement 
  • Previous project management and communications experience
  • The ability to partner across functions and levels of the business to achieve results
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (incl. Excel).
  • Comfort working in a matrix organization and with a regional or global remit
