We are looking for an IT Network Engineer - PBX
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot PBX systems and VoIP services.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of network infrastructure.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor network performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support network security measures.
- Provide technical support for PBX-related issues and end-user training.
- Configure and manage user accounts and permissions on the PBX system.
- Document network configurations, PBX setups, and changes to streamline troubleshooting.
- Stay current with the latest PBX and networking technologies to improve service delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience managing PBX systems and VoIP networks.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience with Asterisk, FreePBX, or PBXact is a strong asset.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Avaya) are preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be available to report to the office to assist with on-site network-related issues.
