IT Manager 

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT  Manager to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, enhancement, and management of our critical SaaS business applications and technology infrastructure.

The IT Application Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of our business applications, ensuring they meet the operational and strategic needs of the organization. This includes managing application procurement, deployment, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex IT projects and teams.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining secure and efficient IT systems and services in Cloud. 

As the IT Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT operations, supporting our team’s ability to deliver world-class data analytics solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Identify SaaS applications for process improvements that are aligned with Sigma overall business objectives and build automation to enhance application efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the SaaS application procurement and architecture for different verticals like Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, Security etc.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical IT solutions.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and integrate them into the company’s IT ecosystem.
  • Oversee network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, performance, and security.
  • Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the IT needs of various departments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance SaaS application efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Manage and optimize G Suite for the organization, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and security settings.
  • Administer other productivity and collaboration tools such as Slack, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), and 1Password.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management solutions, including Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and SCIM integrations.
  • Develop workflows in Okta to automate identity management processes.
  • Oversee MDM solutions like Kandji or Jamf to manage and secure macOS and iOS devices.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and manage device configurations.
  • Manage IT incidents, conduct regular IT risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications We Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of strong experience in the IT domain, with at least 3 years in IT management or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including SaaS application, API Integrations, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint management.
  • Proven experience with G Suite administration, Okta, MDM solutions (Kandji, Jamf), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Should look to automate IT and cross-functional processes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or similar.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.

Additional Job details

The base salary range for this position is $170k - $205k annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
