Reporting to the CIO, the IT Manager will be key member of our IT function and be responsible for the Service Desk and services such as messaging, identity, access management & hardware.

Requirements
Overview of Role Responsibilities
- Lead the business and team on all things MS 365, Entra ID, MDM (Jamf and Intune), Endpoint Privileged Access Management (EPAM) and Jira Service Management
- Ensure the business meets ISO 27001, SOC 2, and customer-specific compliance standards relating to IT and asset management
- Provide business continuity for corporate data stored in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Align with frameworks like ITIL to ensure the Service Desk is operating effectively
- Reduce toil via process improvement and automation, e.g., via Jira or Azure automation, wherever possible, pursuing ideals like zero-touch provisioning and AI-enabled service desk agents
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to convert manual processes to code
- Regularly review costs and overheads like devices, licenses, and tools, to ensure cost and time efficiency is maintained
- Pursue security hardening and CIS benchmarks wherever possible across the IT estate
- Work closely with the SOC team to ensure Callsign are at the forefront of security and data loss prevention capabilities
- Ensure SLAs are set appropriately and strive for service desk excellence
- Keep the team lean and make trade-offs between managed services vs supporting in-house
- Support an engineering-lead organisation by keeping the team lean and well-skilled, always seeking ways to leverage technology to the team’s advantage
- Implement methods to find or self-serve issues before users raise a ticket
- Mentor and advise the Service Desk team as a line manager
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software (MacOS, Windows)
- Solid networking skills in a mixed operating system environment and all aspects of network security
- Active Directory / O365 administration and services
- Experience in MDM tools – JAMF and Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge of Git and developer tooling
- Scripting experience e.g. Bash or PowerShell
- Jira Service Management experience
