Overall objective:

Work on maintaining and monitoring Clinical Applications for our business. Solving L2 technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Receives IT Clinical Application Support requests from L1 Service team (or directly from the IT Application Support Team Leader), prioritizes and manage them properly.
  • Implement and configure clinical applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems such as HIS, RIS, LIS and PACS.
  • Manage issues related to data exchange and interoperability between different healthcare information systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, clinical staff, and vendors to analyze requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, including physicians, nurses, and radiology technologists, to optimize their use of clinical applications.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to clinical applications and healthcare informatics.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of workflow enhancements and system optimizations to improve operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.
  • Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications to maintain accurate records and support knowledge transfer within the organization.
