We are seeking an IT FInance Accounting Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Englewood, CO. This role will be onsite/.in the office and will drive processes that ensure financial operations within IT are completed and communicated in a timely manner. In this position you will be working directly with IT leadership. This requires that the data we collect, organize, analyze, forecast, and report has a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate month end processes; Spend analysis, account reconciliation, accruals, variance analysis, P&L review, and internal financial reporting.
- Assist with the forecast process to include; facilitating meetings to collect proposed spend, adjusting forecast data, managing fund distributions, and communicating significant shifts to ensure alignment with management.
- Analyze various expenditures and campaigns and present results. Examples are Actual to Forecast variance and G&A trend analysis.
- Perform vendor reviews to ensure billing and invoice accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Assist in creating the budget and annual plan for Information Technology.
- Perform back-office processes such as: submitting purchase requisitions, processing invoices for payment, and assisting with accounts payable and receiving.
- Work with peers in other finance departments supporting data needs and ad hoc analysis.
- Understanding of budgets, profit & loss, NPV, Run Rates, GAAP analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Oracle ERP experience desired.
- Experience with Tableau, OneStream Data query in Excel, Hyperion query, and Excel macro development/maintenance desired.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and execute on assertive deadlines with competing priorities.
- Detail oriented with proven accuracy.
