Reporting to the VP, Applications and IT Solutions, the IT Business Partner will act as a key relationship manager for IT and the dedicated business groups to define high-quality solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Primary responsibility to create and communicate a clear vision, prioritize and manage a backlog and ensure alignment with stakeholders by staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve technology solutions and drive business outcomes.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with business groups (senior leaders through to end users) to proactively identify improvement opportunities and assessment of solution options.
- Build a deep understanding of business processes and a clear understanding of the market and industry trends
- Convert business flows into digitally enabled solutions that deliver business value
- Perform vendor and solution assessments. Manage daily communications, expectations and follow-ups with business and IT stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and determine optimal solutions that meet their needs, measuring the value delivered
- Work with a cross-functional team and support the delivery of IT solutions to enable business outcomes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience eliciting and documenting requirements, defining “as is” and “to be” processes and facilitating solution design discussions to ensure business needs are met.
- Proven experience in Agile delivery (preferably DevOps)
- Proven experience in business analysis best practices, requirements documentation business case development, use case creation, and UAT testing.
- Experience in development of business capability models and value stream maps; development and management of strategic roadmaps.
- Significant experience working with Vendors to understand and influence their product roadmaps and ability to translate that into benefits that IO could take advantage of.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize demands in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
- Strong logical, systematic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to non-technical professionals in a simple manner.
