Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Earn in-depth knowledge of Eurofins LeadHunter Services in San Diego and Fremont, California business processes to help the organization achieve the defined business goals and recommend solutions that are aligned with the strategical and tactical objectives.
  • Analyze the existing processes, current systems and highlight areas of improvement.
  • Define to-be processes in the scope of existing and new solutions.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
  • Elicit and document process diagrams and user requirements.
  • Manage user requirements through entire UR lifecycle
  • Analyze complex requirements and help create bridges between legacy and new systems.
  • Enhance opportunities by identifying new processes / functions to be configured,  developed, and  implemented;
  • Oversee the delivery of the business needs as per the requirements;
  • Facilitate change and configuration management;
  • Verify the functionality of the end product according to the requirements specifications;
  • Take ownership of the processes implemented in the systems involved and: prepare business standard operating procedures, user manuals, release notes, and other functional and technical documentation
  • Perform training to the users about processes and the systems involved in supporting such processes;
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision;
  • Regular attendance and punctuality;
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness;
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required;
  • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines;
  • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required. 

Must have good organization and documentation skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • B.Sc or equivalent in Information Technology or comparable field (Applied Math, Engineering etc…).
  • B.Sc or equivalent in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.
  • At least at least 3 years 6 to 8 years in an IT environment preferably in an industrial or process driven environment and ideally in the laboratory industry.
  • At least3years as a Technical Writer in an IT environment.
  • Good business understanding in order to facilitate discussions from top managers to end users.
  • Experience in processes, organization and communication with multiple departments and levels within an organization
  • Experience with establishing and implementing best business practices
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, such as standard operating procedures and technical reports.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, statistical analyses, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshooting skills.
  • LIMS, ELN, ERP and office computer/software proficiency.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Details oriented, analytical and investigation skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex international environment.
  • Eager to learn and continuously develop personal, functional and technical capabilities.
  • Successful completion of all trainings is required.
  • Potential for travels to other Eurofins

Candidates within a commutable distance to San Diego, CA are encouraged to apply. The shift for this role will be: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000/yr.
