Keeley Companies is seeking a dedicated IT Asset and Onboarding Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory management, procurement, vendor relations, and software license compliance. Additionally, the position involves provisioning equipment for new hires and decommissioning equipment for terminated employees. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service, detail-oriented with a keen ability to balance multiple responsibilities, and adept at building collaborative relationships. The position offers the flexibility to adapt and evolve based on the strengths and insights of the individual in the role.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets such as PCs, cell phones, and iPads.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory database and conduct regular audits to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Manage software licenses, ensure timely renewals, and maintain compliance with license agreements.
  • Research and recommend new equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with vendors for purchases and maintain maintenance agreements.
  • Provision IT equipment and software for new employees and deprovision assets from departing employees.
  • Review and update equipment configuration policies. Monitor hardware and software utilization and make recommendations based on company needs and industry trends.
  • Provide printer administration, conduct technology research, and support business units with IT equipment and software-related queries

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Accredited Technical Degree in IT plus an additional minimum of three years of experience supporting similar responsibilities listed above.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in IT asset management, procurement, inventory management, and vendor relations. Strong understanding of hardware and software, including PCs, mobile devices, and Apple products.
  • Knowledge of IT support software such as Freshservice, MS Intune, or SolarWinds.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to continually seek out new technologies and solutions.
  • Creative and analytical thinking, adept at troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical information to non-technical team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, prioritizing effectively under pressure.
